The Cuypers Library

The Cuypers Library is the largest and oldest art history library in the Netherlands. During your museum visit, you can view the library from the balcony (in room 2.16). No reservation is needed.

You can also study the Rijksmuseum’s collections in the library, but this requires an appointment. Read more about doing research in the library here.
