Round-bodied Bottle Vase and Brush Washer. The so-called ‘peach-bloom’ glaze is characterized by mottling in various tones. This effect was achieved by first applying a clear glaze then covering it with a layer of copper pigment, followed by several coats of transparent glaze. This sophisticated process was generally used for small accoutrements for a writing table.
